Cordura ® NYCO

The comfort of cotton with but with enhanced functionality

Originally designed as a rugged, lightweight comfort solution for military combat uniforms, the hardwearing CORDURA® NYCO fabric is engineered with an intimate blend of INVISTA T420 nylon 6,6 staple fibre and cotton and offers enhanced abrasion and tear resistance.

Characteristics:

  • Rugged – 3X more abrasion resistant than 100% cotton
  • Comfort – high cotton content
  • Strong – excellent tear strength
  • Authentic – look of classic woven cotton
  • Minimum INVISTA T420 nylon 6,6 fiber content required

Fabric type: Woven – plain, canvas, oxford, panama, twill and ripstop constructions. Can be finished, coated or laminated.

VAG-TEX® Membranes

VAG-TEX® combine PU and ePTFE membranes. The PU membrane has a water repellency rating of W/R 10,000mm (JIS L1092 B test standard) and a breathability 15,000G/SQM/24Hours (JIS L1099 B1 test standard).

The colder the temperature, the better performance of the membranes. PU membrane has a single stretchable layer, it is ideal for laminating with stretchable outer shell fabrics.

The ePTFE membrane is not stretchable, it has a double layer membrane which is designed for high demand professions such as forestry workers. The waterproof performance of ePTFE is higher than that of the PU membrane.

Ultra Warm System

Vagor® Ultra Warm System is made of soft electrical carbon nanotube heating panels.

*Carbon nanotube membrane inside

  • Fabric and waterproof membrane laminated on both sides
  • Temperature sensor on carbon nanotube membrane for actual temperature monitoring. Billions of carbon nanotubes are pressed into a pure membrane.
  • 40-53℃ manual temperature control, build-in sensor
  • Smart phone APP both for iPhone and Android. 

Washing instructions:

Machine washable maximum 20 times at 30℃. Flat dry completely before use. Detail washing instructions displayed on washing labels. 

Safety:

*Use power bank 10,000 mAh

*Shut down the power once feel uncomfortable 

*Protection against short-circuit. Once the current exceeds 2.1-2.3A, the power will be cut off automatically 

*Protection against over temperature

Once the temperature on the heating panel is over 60℃, the power will be cut off mandatorily
